About this app

Two tools for visualizing sound.

A stroboscopic tuner. You tell it which note you are aiming for, and then it will show you a red/green bar indicating how close you are coming to hitting it. Perfectly horizontal means you are in tune, sloping down is flat, and sloping up is sharp.

An FFT spectrum analyzer. You can see how the complete spectrum evolves over time.

TunerTime is not the simplest tuner to use, but it is probably the most precise, and it has features particularly useful for piano tuners.

Still worth all five stars after using for two years! 👍🏻 Worked beautifully for my new hammered dulcimer! Other tuner apps wavered by as much as 5 cents on some of my strings, but the strobe display in this app makes it crystal-clear where the true pitch lies every time - without a pickup, and even with landscapers mowing outside. Long-pressing +/- to move by perfect fifths got me tuning all 82 of my strings in record time. Note: this app is open-source! See the developer's website for info.

At the risk of sounding like a braggert, I have an incredibly discerning ear and cant stand when things are even slightly out of tune. This tuner is by far the best tuner currently on the Google Play store. Phenomenal app that is dead on with my expensive strobe tuner, which is accurate to .017 cents. The only thing that would make this better was if every note had its own button to select it with a single touch. Incredible app. 6 stars.

Annoyed with screen adjustment freeze. Like some other apps, can't get back to main screen without a hassle. Cell must be turned off-on to use app after adjustment. A drag. Otherwise, a very nice tuning app. Just avoid screen color changes and that &__++-&+ screen freeze. I mean, talk about dead weight. That's what screen freezes over simple adjustments are: Dead weight.
