Penhas is an application that provides help, information and support for women who are victims of violence.
The app allows anyone involved in combating violence against women to register. Cis and trans women have exclusive help tools, such as the Panic Button, the production of audio evidence and the Escape Manual. Users also have a welcoming and non-judgmental listening space, connection with other women, as well as professional, confidential and personalized service. Know more:
- Escape Manual: Build a detailed plan for leaving the violent domestic environment. After answering a few questions, receive a personalized list with practical actions relating to personal security, assets, custody, children and/or other dependents, based on the provisions of the Maria da Penha Law.
- Panic Button: Register up to five people you trust to be called in a moment of danger. The tool sends these guardians an SMS with a distress call and your exact location.
- Direct dialing to the police: In just one click, call the police in a risky situation.
- Audio recording: Activate an audio recording that captures ambient sound, allowing you to produce legal evidence.
- Professional and personalized service: Talk to professionals experienced in combating gender-based violence available for private service on a daily basis.
- Feed: Share your stories anonymously, if you prefer, and interact with other women in our support network. Access quality content and information, such as reports related to the topic of violence against women.
- Support points: Access a map with specialized police stations and other equipment in the public network of services for women in situations of violence throughout Brazil.
