With naval tradition the board game called Ally is very similar to Ludo that the Merchant Navy was called Pitoco, already in Brazil's Navy was renamed Ally.
It served to distract the sailors during long sea journeys. It was played on a canvas and leather with a bowl.
The Allied has its own slang:
Magazine - A square at the beginning of the game which concentrate all the stones;
Ace or Pio - Number 1 data;
Duke - Number 2 data;
Suit - Number 3 given;
Court - number 4 of the data;
Quina - Number 5 of the data;
Sena - Number 6 of the data;
Peru - He who watches the match and is giving random guess, it is said that Peru has no homeland, usually do not root for anyone;
Storemen - The player who always dies and returns to the barn;
Police - When the partner is good game, it is just playing to kill the opponents;
Matador - Excellent police;
Pitocado out - out with two or three stones in one house;
Pitoco - Going out with four stones in the same house, or join in the game.
Yeah Bleeding - one who just died and is a round without playing;
Intoxicate - Forward grouped some stones and leave one at the beginning;
