I've been using Gate for almost 2 years now for my vacation rental and it's the only keyless entry I've ever had. Overall I love it when it's working which is most of the time. The best features are notifications as people come and go and video so I can see if they have all their suitcases with them so we can get housekeeping in early. Love that guests can only enter during their booking. Buy a 2nd battery. It can run out in less than a week. Sometimes wifi takes forever to update new codes

Good app, would be 5 stars if there would be an option to monitor live audio/video/microphone any time, not just when motion has been triggered or call button pressed, and integration with Nest products. Currently modifying to add a solar panel for constant recharging, with sliding contacts on rotating dial. Optional IR light would be nice for darkness. Also, sign-in window has a bug where keyboard doesn't pop up.

Hi Arpad! Thanks for your feedback! We are working on on-demand video and unlocking/locking via the app without motion. We hope it will be available very soon. We are working on the keyboard issue (it's been fixed on the log in page already). Thanks for your other feedback, we'll review that!

Works well for my personal keyless entry, but I have a storm door that blocks the camera's view of the left half of my front porch. It would have been more functional if the camera was at 9 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock. If the camera was positional, left, right, top or bottom, that would make it better.
