This thing sucks. My unit either shuts itself off completely or does not adjust when I need it to. It has worked flawlessly for over a year. All of a sudden it just became the most annoying device in my house. My home was freezing one night and we could not adjust. A few weeks later it stayed at 85 degrees heat for a whole day during 83 degree outside weather. It is extremely unreliable and when I call John Wayne about it...they make it seem like it's me that dont know how to adjust it.

The app seems alright. My biggest complaint is every time I click on system performance it has an arrow to expand on and the app just gives me an error message. I would like to know what it is trying to tell me, especially when it has an ! icon. Also the humidity control option will not turn on and I don't know why. I guess I just don't know why it won't let me access random features.

very useful when it works as intended. however, hub never stays connected for more than a couple days before losing any and all connectivity and then becomes useless. support only says it coznevtiviy issue on my end and to reset the hub which I have placed directly next to router/modem. no other devices in my house have such issue. if you dont mind having to reset the hub every couple days I guess this would be a five star system
