About this app

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten. Does it sound hard? Not really if you think about it. If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years. If you consider that most children start kindergarten at around 5 years of age, you have more time than you think (so get started).

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten app lets parents/caregivers keep track of their children's reading activity quickly and easily.

- Scan books into your library
- Keep track of reading activity for multiple readers
- Track your progress to 1000 books!

Love the concept, but not the experience. If searching for a book and then needing to add manually, should maintain the title entered. Adding photo for book is spotty. Should also be able to add details after a book has been manually added eg photo or number of pages. Book search generally not successful if there is a space after the last word in the title.

Love the program, the app needs a LOT of work. Asside from the fact that it's slow to load and crashes a lot it's a lot of steps to deal with. I like the concept of the 'library' but I would love to see a progress selection for longer/# in 1 books and a way to track how many times a book as been read. It would also be very nice to be able to click finished reading when you scan a new book in. My child loves story's and will go thru 3-5 a night then we scan after reading so I takes lots of time

I LOVE this concept. My kiddos are currently almost 3 and just turned 1 and they both are obsessed with books. And I really *want* to love this app. But it is SO not user friendly. I think my main issue is that there is not a way to select multiple books to add to the reading list. If this was possible, that would make such a difference in user experience. Overall the app is delayed and clunky. I'm keeping it because it is my only option besides a physical notebook. But please update πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜©
