Great bikes, butv really horrible app. Drains your phone battery when cycling, but also when pausing a ride. Locking/unlocking bikes often does not work, sometimes restarting your phone helps. Also, trying to contact the service center in the app is nearly impossible, because the keyboard hides the input field. And I'm sure I forgot to mention even more issues I had using the app for only a weekend.

The app works fine and the availability of cargo bikes is a welcome addition to the sharing ecosystem, but there's a fatal flaw: payments are designed around non refundable prepaid wallets. Why? Why can't you just be charged for what you've used, like with any honest service? If you contact them, you can get your wallet back free of charge *once*.
Hi Thomas, thanks for your feedback. Wallet credit is always refundable. We ask riders to have at least €1 in the wallet as a payment fraud prevention measure. We can refund the balance to your payment method for free once. We only pass on the payment transaction fees if this happens very frequently for one account, which has never happened so far.
Need S.
Great service, horrible app. - very sluggish - used 90% of my battery while cycling - couldn't connect to lock when ending the ride, delaying the ride - needs active location services just to show bikes on the map (- no information about battery status of the bikes; which is not really an app problem and I can understand the limitation in their bikes) I think this whole service and app have high potential but definitely need (especially on the software side) some work
Thanks for your feedback!
The battery issue can happen if other apps use the location on the background. You can always force close the BAQME app while riding if this is an issue.
If Bluetooth does not connect to the lock within seconds, it's best to restart the app.
Let us know on support@baqme.com if you experience issues on your next ride.
