Device discovery made robust via SSDP/UPnP (M‑SEARCH → setup.xml parsing) for reliable on‑network detection.
Improved Wi‑Fi provisioning flow with AES-128-CBC password encryption (see Wemo crypto implementation).

Compatibility & Requirements

Device and phone must be on the same Wi‑Fi network.
Router must allow UDP multicast for SSDP discovery.
Android SDK: runs on devices API 24+; tested up to target SDK 36.
Wi‑Fi scanning requires location permissions (user must grant at runtime).

Maybe I am just happy to recover all my old belkin plugs but this app seem to me faster than original wemo app . Still missing edit automation rules ( device remember old rules but can not edit ) and renaming device from wemo . Also smart switch on off state recognise corectly after close and reopen app but insight plug can not recognise actual state , always show off ( it start to show corectly if press on and off inside swich page )

After Belkin dropped support for my WeMo switch, I was ready to toss it. Thanks for giving it a second chance! App works great and discovered my switch, even without location permissions.

Excellent alternative and savior for all my WeMo devices. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done for me. Thanks to the developer for his efforts.
