Terrible almost never works when casting to Google TV. But some how the adverts always work, it then just fails to show you the program you wanted. Edit: tried what the dev suggested and uninstalled then re-installed. worked for 1 episode on downstairs TV. but then failed again later on upstairs TV. Reinstalling everytime i want to watch a programme is not exactly a great fix. For clarity my wife has the same issue and we also get the same issue when using the channel 4 app in sky Q.

Regularly gets stuck on buffering and adverts often bring a black screen that doesn't come back when the programme restarts, so it's just sound then. The only way to resolve is to close it down and come back later. The same problem exists whatever device the app is on, different makes and models, phone and TV, up to date and uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. Superfast fiber broadband Internet connection and NO other apps do this - ONLY CH4. Please sort it out!

Great film and TV selection, however the app shuts down at random times, might not happen for days or weeks and other times can happen several times a day. Another issue I have is it resets film and TV series progression if you don't continue watching within a week or two, it makes the delete option completely useless as the app makes that choice for you. Also when you finish an episode you have to start the next and exit for it to show in your continue list otherwise you have to search.
