RegenVorschau offers a short-term prediction of precipitation development (rain or snow) for each location in Germany based on radar measurements.

After starting the application, the current location is automatically determined and then the corresponding forecast is loaded with rain probability and intensity for the next two hours.

You can also load a radar map that shows the current rainfall and its direction of movement. Thus, the precipitation development can be foreseen for well over two hours.

New: A wind map shows the wind flow at different heights (10 m, 1500 m and 3000 m). This allows you to better assess the weather situation. Precipitation clouds typically move at altitudes between 1500 and 3000 meters.

The in-app purchase can be used to purchase premium status to disable ads and use widgets, including rain alerts (1 month premium status for $ 0.50, 1 year for $ 2.99 or permanent for $ 8) , 99 EUR).

Best Weather App I know! The possibility to change the color scheme would be nice. The blue probability-graph is sometimes hard to see, especially with a dark background.

App is not fussy and does what it claims to do! 4 Stars. I'd be willing to pay a one time fee (lifelong) up to € 5.99 but I do not want a yearly plan!
