Introducing aKinder™Chat! An easy to use video chat for all the times in your life. Chat with family or chat with 50 friends. Great for homebound seniors or those actively on the go.
aKinder™Chat was developed for both the tech challenged and the tech savvy as a safe, membership only, video chat platform to talk with friends and family.
Originally designed for families with older adults affected by isolation or memory loss aKinder™Chat is now a versatile video chat application that works for everyone.
Features include:
One touch video chat - click on the face of a friend or family member and you are connected. Perfect for those times when a friendly face can provide needed companionship, offer assistance or share a laugh
Group chat - easily connect with up to 50 people to coordinate family & friend conversations. This premium feature connects everyone under one platform without the need for scheduling email or additional call links.
Emergency feature #1 - Click on the emergency button and the system will keep calling family members until a family member is connected. This does not replace 911. In a life threatening emergency call 911 and then use aKinder™Chat to alert family members.
Emergency feature #2 - Designed for designated family members only. We have added a unique feature to aKinder™Chat.
The following scenario will help explain this feature.
Imagine that you have a scheduled nightly call with your elderly or isolated family member. You try calling and there is no answer. You try calling again and there is no answer. You know they are home and you are getting concerned.
With aKinder™Chat designated family members have the ability to force open the camera and microphone on the elderly or isolated family member’s phone or, as we recommend, their tablet. You now have a limited view and the ability to listen and call out to that family member. Maybe they have fallen or suddenly lost the ability to communicate. aKinder™Chat allows you to assess the situation and respond accordingly.
Revolving photo feature - Instantly send photos to friends and family using our rotating photo feature. Share photos with everyone or a select few. Photos rotate every 10 seconds and it helps to stimulate memory and create smiles! Great way to keep connected between video calls and let someone know you care.
