I've had this on my phone for a while now, getting through the story bit by bit (parenting tends to cut game time short, lol). I waited until I'd finished so I could give a fair review, and.. I'M ASTOUNDED! This game is a phenomenal, bite size RPG that can be enjoyed at ones own pace, and completed in about 8-10 hours. It's extremely simple, but that's honestly one of it's strongest points. 1 character to play means you don't spend hours customizing a party, and you can simply enjoy the story.

Reminds me a lot of Dragon Quest 1 and Earthbound (More of the former though). There are a few issues: MP is too low to make most spells worth your time, Teleport taking you back to the castle is kinda tedious, and battles get kinda repetitive since it's always a 1v1 (Tho that's what reminded me of DQ1). That being said, I still like this game, despite all of that and the grindiness. I also like that it's 100% free. No ads, no IAPs, nothing. Don't see that often. | Edit: Ads were added. :(

Flawless game design, consumables actually need to be used and purchased unlike many rpgs, long lasting fights, challenging bosses, well made dungeons, and most importantly the game doesnt make you go back an hour of progress when you forget to save and close out the game. It feels like a perfect mix of dragon quest, earthbound, and final fantasy.
