I installed two locks on a 'double lock' security gate. Finger prints were activated for two individuals. Both locks have worked at 'first touch' 90% of the times, the remaining 10% required repositioning my finger. Thus far no complains! I need an outdoor version that's IP67 rated, as I would like to use the lock on my external gates at the entrance to the property.

It has been hit or Miss but usually works fairly well. I did recently have a scare when I try to unlock my shed in a rainstorm and it wouldn't work. I bought this because it was advertised to be able to handle the rain but there's a good chance that it didn't recognize my wet fingerprint so I can't conclusively say that there's anything wrong with it. I like the occasional firmware updates making the device better and better each time. I just wish I understood the morse code emergency option

7.17.2020 update. Still unreliable and not improved. 1 failed completely. 2017 review:Wish I had read the reviews here before buying. I have had every issue described in reviews and more. It would be generous calling this a Beta app. It is more like pre-alpha. I hope they get it fixed as the lock looks great and when it works it saves lots of time.
