We also like to throw in some surprises from time to time, seasoning our jazz gumbo with blues, funk and Latin jazz.

Like the music. This rating is only for the phone app, which worked well initially. Now it stops every couple of minutes, and I have to press play each time. I'm not talking about pauses to buffer. Wifi or cell network. Player works okay on my laptop. Smooth Jazz app works okay on my phone.

KPLU Seattle/WPLI's app. It's excellent, no real complaints. No ADS is wonderful! Truly world class jazz, as advertised, I'll never not have this app. However, I'm here hoping for an update. It keeps crashing and I don't think it's because of my device (Samsung Galaxy n8). Am I the only one? Doesn't seem to matter what stream I pick. Not going to stop me loving the excellent jazz this app provides, this is the real deal for afficionados and those who want REAL jazz right here! Thank you guys!

Easy to install and plays great jazz. So far, not too much talk. The app plays a "set" of music, then some talk. Seems like a standard jazz radio format. Some music is instrumental, some vocals.
