I highly recommend Kanopy. The app works smoothly, the image quality is very good, and the selection is exceptional. You will find excellent films, documentaries, and TV series from around the world, all in their proper aspect ratio and with subtitles for international selections. This is the perfect app for true lovers of cinema and television.

Works well including playback of movies etc. wish there were a mechanism for download and view later, and a means of seeing how much a movie is buffered. On low bandwidth connections the movie might pause and then resume haltingly. Without an indication of buffering status, hard to tell when to resume after pause for uninterrupted viewing. Also, unclear if buffering still occurs when paused.

10.4.24 Older Google phone reboots while using!!! NOT properly keeping track of credits on My Lists. Unable to find series with purchased credits. BOO HISS. 9. 22.24 Does not hold place across 2 devices. :-( BUT Pleasant relief not to see mega ADs. Great content. Search function could use some work. Wish there was a way to categorize items in my Watch List. Appreciate my public library for giving me this.
