About this game

Read the clues. Break the code.

Passcode Hack is a deduction puzzle in a retro terminal. Enter a code and use the feedback to narrow down the secret: a filled square means a correct digit in the correct place; a hollow diamond means a correct digit in another place. These are counts, not positional clues. Repeated digits are counted fairly.

BREACH
Chain freshly generated nodes into an endless run. Codes grow from three to five digits, with six-digit Firewall nodes later on. Earn points for efficient guesses, build your streak multiplier and climb six clearance ranks. Your run saves as you play, so returning resumes the same code.

TOOLS AND NOTES
Long-press a keypad digit to mark it excluded or confirmed. Spend exploit charges to test whether a digit is present, reveal one slot or add two attempts. Optional rewarded ads can add a charge once per node or reconnect a failed node once per run.

DAILY BREACH
One shared five-digit challenge per UTC day, with ten attempts. Continue your saved daily attempt, build a daily streak and share a spoiler-free grid of your guesses.

PRACTICE
Choose three to six slots, six, eight or ten available digits, and whether repeats are allowed. Learn at your own pace with unlimited guesses, no points and no exploits.

YOUR TERMINAL
Unlock six cosmetic rig colors through cumulative run XP. Longer streaks bring data rain, packet graphs and overclock effects. Feedback uses distinct shapes as well as color. Sound and haptics can be switched off.

Includes banner ads and occasional full-screen ads at run end or after a finished daily challenge, never between nodes. Rewarded video ads are optional. This is a logic game with fictional hacking visuals, not a real hacking tool. Rebuilt from scratch for version 2.0.
Crack secret codes by logic in a hacker terminal. A puzzle, not a real hack.
