Synodal Russian translation of the Bible. Contains the text of the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in modern Russian. The translation was made in the XIX century in full accordance with the teachings of the Orthodox Church. The only Russian translation authorized by the Holy Synod, and recognized in the Russian Orthodox Church.
The translation of the books of the Old Testament was carried out from Hebrew (Masoretic text), with some account taken of the Church Slavonic text, dating back to the translation of seventy interpreters; New Testament - from the Greek original.
The translation has high authority and is widely used not only in the Orthodox Church, but also in other Christian denominations that use the Russian language for preaching.
The Bible contains interpretations of the Holy Fathers: St. John Chrysostom, Blessed Theophylact, the Archbishop of Bulgaria, Rev. Ephraim the Syrian, St. Theophan the Recluse
The application needs access to internal memory to install a fairly large amount of Bible text (50MB). If after installation the application does not start, try to free up space on the internal memory.
