ConfessIt is a Roman Catholic examination of conscience app for your Android device. It is designed to be simple and easy to use, and it will help you remember your sins for confession. There is also a confession walkthrough which tells you exactly what your confessor will say and how you should respond. The examination of conscience is based on fundamental Catholic church teachings, is easy to understand, and is relevant for modern Catholics.

The best of the best in my experience. An examination tab goes through the 10 commandments and subpoints. Each point has a check box to select if applicable. Any boxes checked are displayed in a second tab labeled "Sins". Additionally there is a plus sign that may be used for additional sins on the conscience. There's a third tab titled "Walkthrough" - most helpful. It scripts the event with words of the priest & yourself, displays the sins, & includes the confiteor prayer. Excellent !!!

Overall, it's a good app. I would prefer if it had an "I.e." button in case people wanted examples of a sin or to show details of how one could sin that way. I also wish that it had a button to count how many times you have committed a sin.

Incredibly helpful to keep track. I do wish there was a way to tally (noting how many times since last confession) for those of us who have sins we repeat. I've recommended this app to friends also.
