About this app

The story of this girl and her family has perplexed the whole world. "The Diary of Anne Frank" is an exclusive description of two years in the life of a group of people who had to hide from Nazi terror. It became direct evidence of the genocidal policies carried out during the Second World War. The diary is narrated in the first person. Here, in the form of notes, Anna shares her most intimate things with a certain friend Kitty. Being isolated from the outside world, she once again opened the notebook she received as a gift from her father and poured out her soul. She started taking notes for a reason. Having heard on the radio the words of the Minister of Education that any letters indicating the existence of Nazi terror should be preserved, the girl began to write.

Peaceful times have given way to mass terrorism with global destructive power. It has become a problem for all of humanity. Like a modern plague, it gave rise to evil and terrified the whole world, which was already looking for the right way out of this situation. But while the fascists’ offensive continues, people endure their mockery. In addition, the girl describes personal experiences, actions and feelings of family and friends. Here the reader will find everything that is characteristic of that terrible time: excessive irritability and impetuosity, ardor and impulsiveness, alternating excessive self-criticism with periodic self-confidence. The little heroine wants to learn the truth of adult life and find the meaning of existence. Sometimes, surrounded by misunderstandings, she dreams of a close friend who will understand her perfectly. Surely, this is why in her letters she refers to an imaginary friend who is not destined to meet in reality. After reading this work, the reader will think about many things, learn to appreciate life and every moment of being on Earth.
This book became a world bestseller - not only because of its piercing intonation, but mainly because it managed to unite in the fate of one girl millions of human tragedies associated with the Nazi genocide. Anne Frank and her family are considered among the most famous victims of Nazism.
