I just made a transfer which shows one rate but transfer was made at a lower rate without amy warning. I've just lowered the rating because it went from bad to worse. You send money and it says successful only to reverse to pending and eventually reversed after sitting on your money for some time and depriving you of taking advantage of other apps with better rate until it all crashes in your face. Very slow too

App UI is confusing. I didn't like the fact that you need to add money to wallet even before booking any transfer/remittance (no information about transfer time is provided). I was trying it for the first time but then stopped when I saw these things. Other Apps like Remitbee let's user book the transfer and then transfer money to wallet.

I am reaching out to say a very big thumbs up to Pesa! I got my transfer don in less than 90mins with NOT a single charge. I will like to add, with the best rates ever seen in the market! Recipient got credited the exact amount that was sent! I searched for a means to send money from Nigeria, even Nigerian banks told my family that it was impossible. Then a friend recommended Pesa to me. Super grateful!
