PingKnow is a participatory network testing app that allows Android devices to become part of a distributed network testing system, helping measure real website connectivity and network quality across different regions and network environments.
After a simple registration to become a node member, your device can receive network quality testing tasks assigned by the PingKnow platform. By completing eligible testing tasks, users can accumulate platform rewards.
PingKnow performs network connectivity tests according to each task and sends the test results back to the PingKnow system. These results are used to analyze real-world connection quality across different regions, network providers and device environments. When system conditions are met, the device automatically receives and performs testing tasks without requiring manual operation from the member.
PingKnow only performs lightweight tests related to network connection quality and network speed, such as Ping, HTTP connectivity and related network diagnostics. It does not access your photos, contacts, SMS messages, call content, microphone or camera data.
Main features include:
• Receive and perform global network quality testing tasks
• Measure website and network connectivity
• Submit testing results for aggregated platform analysis
• View current task and node status
• View task history and reward records
• Accumulate platform rewards by completing eligible testing tasks
• Account management, device management and referral features
PingKnow uses network IP information to determine an approximate country, region, city and network provider for network quality analysis. The app does not require access to the device's precise GPS location.
To help devices reliably receive and perform background network testing tasks, PingKnow may ask users to allow notifications and adjust battery optimization settings. These settings remain under the user's control.
PingKnow aims to collect network quality data from real devices distributed across different regions and network environments, providing a more accurate view of how websites and online services actually perform for users around the world.
Join real-world global network tests, complete tasks, and earn rewards.
