About this app

Microphone Amplifier app uses the microphone as sound amplifier and hearing amplifier to amplify sound from your surroundings for louder hearing. Microphone Amplifier app use the Android device’s microphone or headset microphone for sound amplification. Microphone Amplifier is an Android microphone app that helps people hear conversations or their surroundings, and amplify sound from TV for louder hearing using the phone microphone and Bluetooth earphones.

Use Microphone Amplifier app as a remote microphone. Place your phone near a TV or speaker, then use your Bluetooth headphones. You'll hear audio in your headphones while the sound remains at a comfortable volume for others. Microphone Amplifier can amplify external sound coming through the microphone, reduce background noise, and transmit the amplified sound at louder volume to your wired or Bluetooth earphones.

For people with hearing loss who cannot afford medical hearing aids, asking others to speak louder (or turn up the TV volume) isn’t a helpful solution because people hear clear at different audio frequencies. Microphone Amplifier makes it possible to use your phone as a hearing aid. Connect Bluetooth headset, select Headset mic, and tap the Play button to hear conversations and your surroundings clearly.

When you plug in your headphones and use Microphone Amplifier app, you can amplify sound for your ears at louder volume, augment important sound like the voices of the people near you, and filter out background noise. Microphone Amplifier helps you hear conversations clearly, amplify the sound coming from TV without bothering others, boost the voices of presenters at a lecture, or listen to your surroundings from far distance to know what’s happening around you.

1. The audio quality is worse than the built-in app Voice Recorder (very robotic). I tried to change the Equalizer but it doesn't work. 2. The preset settings for the equalizer don't do anything. 3. There is no clear option to switch to a Lav mic in the headphone jack (options are: Device Mic Bottom/Top, Headset Mic Type 1/2, Bluetooth Mic Type 1/2). 4. You can record AFTER buying, so no way to test. Overall I just wasted money and time. Applying for a refund now.

Some functionality, but it shuts off every time just as I'm finally getting situated. Also, i don't know why you tout features that you do not appear to have included in your app. I checked permissions assuming i must need to allow recording, saving files, something, but there's nothing. Only a button saying record, which does nothing at all. Guess i should have spent more time kicking the tires of the dozens of - externally - identical apps in the play store.
