Marquee Sports Network is the exclusive local television home of the Chicago Cubs.
The new Marquee Sports Network App features a direct-to-consumer subscription offering allowing in-market users to subscribe directly to Marquee Sports Network, as well as the ability to log-in with their existing cable or streaming provider.
With the App, in-market users can stream live Cubs games, Cubs-related historical programming, minor league games and much more on their computer, phone or connected TV device.

Ratings and reviews

Really sub par experience with this app, and hard to believe there's no option available for Chromecasts so we have to cast from the phone to watch on TV. There hasn't been a single game where we haven't had buffering, disconnects, frozen feeds, etc. We have gigabit fiber with little to no issues across any other streaming service, so it is not the connection. For the price of the subscription, Marquee needs to do a lot better. Update: Cardinals as an apple exclusive was it. We have canceled.

There's now a Cast option, but it stutters ALL THE TIME. No other streaming service I use has this issue. The audio cuts out all the time, and the video glitches out. It seems in almost every big moment it the game, the stream just craps out for a second. You guys need to find a different service to use for Chromecast. Add an intuitive, well made Smart TV app, and I promise i'll change my review to a 5 star. EDIT: I have emailed with a video, chromecast info, and internet speeds. Will update.

While we've finally gotten casting support, it's literally the bare minimum a subscription video service app could have. The feed will crash multiple times during a game, and audio will fall out of sync. The same trash happens when streaming on a computer via a web browser, so as much as I'd like to beg for a true Google TV app, I know it'd be just as bad. Seriously, y'all are now asking people to pay for this service, at least make an effort to give your customers a decent product.
