StoryMight viewer is an app which enables users to not only view the StoryBooks' of their friends and family but to send questions, Story Requests, for their loved ones to answer.
Think photo album on steroids.
A StoryBook is a well-organized cloud based personal or family history album made up of live videos, user video stories, and photos. It is a fluid and always growing history of one's life. It encourages and guides the user to tell stories and then organizes the stories and presents them in a tapestry that can easily be shared with family and friends. Additionally the app prompts family members and friends to ask questions about their loved ones life experiences and integrates their answers into the StoryBook.
It has been documented that cross generational programming and the telling of one's life experiences helps decrease depression, feelings of loneliness and lack of self-worth in seniors while at the same time building resilience and a sense of inclusion in the younger generations.
The StoryMight app is specially designed to be accessible to seniors. It has large brightly colored buttons, robust explanations and an easy to follow flow which makes it fun and engaging to use.
