Bought the full version, which lets you hibernate system apps. It disabled my alarms, and even with the clock app on my excluded list, they still aren't working. In retrospect I should have been more selective when deciding what apps to hibernate. This app 100% does what it says, but be aware that it might not be a good idea to disable all those apps, so maybe not suitable for a casual user. Hibernator could definitely benefit from some idiot proofing.

I completely recommend this to my Motorola users, it does everything it says it will, it does indeed close the apps in the background. But the app is super slow, understandable but really annoying when 78 apps are running after you restart the phone. I completely recommend that if you shut your phone off daily, do it before you go to bed, so first thing in the morning, you can drink coffee while the app hibernates background apps, and if you buy pro, you can get more RAM meaning more space! ❤️

This is ads free paid version for my unrooted nexus 5x ; maybe deserves 5 stars, but that would be perfect; not used enough to know if it is perfect. What i like is you can choose user and system apps to hibernate which saves my battery; also has whitelist for apps never to be hibernated! Be careful not to hibernate system apps that are critical for phone, text, email, and same goes for user apps, you always need on. Also, is a phone cooler app without the often innaccurate temperature readings.
