Perfect app for learning Kanji. It is a hidden jewel. Though supported by ads, unlike other apps the ad banner isn't obstructing the screen or very distracting. You have different modes to use, like answering questions with Kanji to Romaji, and if you don't want to use romaji you can use the Kanji to Kana. The kanji are separated from grade level. There is a kanji search like most other apps. For the flashcards mode, it uses most/all readings for the kanji, but for the quiz mode, it asks for only the most common readings, which is super helpful. I haven't seen other apps like this, and I'm surprised at the quality and super easy interface. The interface is very easy to navigate. The kanji is separated from how it's learned by Japanese in first to sixth grade, so this app is perfect for beginners and intermediates. It's not available in Spanish, which is a bummer but compared to what else the app has to offer, that's perfectly fine imo. Download it for yourself. It's free, and you can uninstall any time if you're unsatisfied. I've used the app for two days, and so far it's been the best Kanji learning/practice app I've found. If I see anything else helpful to note, I may edit my review. (WORKS ON TOUCHSCREEN CHROMEBOOK AS WELL)

No speech spoken with kanji. You provide the kana, but some words are best heard&then imitated, opposed to just guessing how it should sound. Also this needs the full 2,000+ basic kanji when you have the time of course. ^^! Still an interesting app&no intrusive permissions. Edit: I stand corrected. There is stroke order, but too basic for my liking&with too many strokes can be overly confusing. Still though it is nice to know it is there. I want to give 3 1/2, but I will round it up to 4. ^^!

Thank you for your comments ! You can actually see the stroke order in each kanji card. There is a small button on top right of the screen to display the stroke order.
Best regards.

The best app for Kanji learning and a big help for Japanese learners like me. The app has room for improvement but I hope that it stays free for everyone to use. I'm okay with the banner ads. Thank you!
