Ratings and reviews

It's ok. Plays some videos. Not all. Buffer is too slow. Hidden video is stupid. If you hide a video while it's playing then you'll never find it again to turn off. Frustrating. The last issue is all the trash Youtube puts on its front page can't be hidden. All the misinformation and fake science. Really need to be able to hide it without having to sign in.

I'm happy this app exists but there are some big issues. Video load time can be bad. You don't even know it's loading. It just spins. And often the video vanishes off screen with no way to open it. So you think you closed a video that's refusing to open but in reality it's just taking five minutes to load and it's hidden somewhere on your phone. So it'll start playing long after you forgot and gave up on the app. Shorts don't load video and you can't float them. Buffering stutters a ton.

Hey I'm back to update my review. After using it for a day or so I've realized it DEFINITELY deserves 5 stars, bugs and all, it's amazing. Listening to my music, no ads, and not worrying about my purse switching the song or my battery with audio mode was amazing. Walking the dog and stuff has been amazing with screen lock. Screen lock is genius.Taking a bath and not having to figure out how to skip ads with wet hands is awesome. Nvm customization, get notifications so I can delete YouTube😭🙏
