About this app
The pipe offset calculator that stays out of your way: travel, run, rolling offsets, cut lengths and mitered elbows, drawn from your numbers, with no ads jumping in front of them.
NO POP-UP ADS. EVER.
One small banner at the bottom, hidden while you type. No full-screen ads, no videos, nothing that clears your numbers when you hit a button.
SEE THE OFFSET BEFORE YOU CUT
Every result comes with a drawing: the offset with its travel and run, the rolling offset seen along the pipe and from the side, each segment of a mitered elbow, the parallel runs with their start marks, the drain slope over its run. Change a number and the drawing follows.
TYPE IT LIKE YOUR TAPE READS
14 1/2", 5' 3 1/2", 3/4", 2.5m — feet, inches and fractions just work. Results come out to the nearest 1/16" (or 1/8", 1/32") with feet-and-inches next to long lengths. Prefer big keys? Turn on the app keypad in Settings: ft, in, fractions and Next, easy with gloves.
PIPE TOOLS
• Pipe offset — travel and run for 11¼°, 22½°, 30°, 45°, 60° or any angle, with the multipliers
• Rolling offset — true offset, travel, run and how far to roll the fitting; or the fitting angle for a set run
• Parallel offsets — several pipes through the same offset: where each next pipe starts so the spacing stays equal
• Cut length — center-to-center minus both fitting take-outs and the weld gaps, plus the take-out of an elbow cut to any angle
• Mitered elbow — segmented elbow from straight pipe: cut angle, long and short side of every segment, end pieces and take-out
• Pipe slope — drop over a run at ¼", ⅛" or any slope per foot, or the slope from a measured drop, with the IPC Table 704.1 minimums for the drain size
Offsets work the same for conduit: the travel is the distance between your bend marks.
ALSO IN THE BOX
• Feet-inch fraction calculator (tape measure math)
• Right triangle & squaring with the 3-4-5 check
• Construction unit converter
• Bubble level and inclinometer
BUILT FOR THE JOB SITE
• Works offline — basement, crawl space, mechanical room with no signal
• High-contrast mode for full sun, plus dark mode
• Screen stays on while a calculator is open
• Remembers what you typed and keeps a history of your calculations
• Star the calculators you use most to pin them to the top
• Share any result by text or email
• English and Spanish, switch any time in Settings
No account, no sign-up, nothing leaves your phone.
WHY CLEAN SCREEN APPS
I got tired of apps that throw full-screen ads at you in the middle of a job, so I build apps with no pop-up ads. TrueOffset is the second one, after TrueSquare Calc.
Questions or a calculator you'd like added: xufengce209@gmail.com
Results are estimates. Check your fittings' take-out dimensions and your local plumbing and electrical codes before you cut.
