About this app

Instead of the digits 1, 2, 3, etc... this clock uses columns of dots that turn on and off like the 1s and 0s of the binary form of the number.

Binary Clock also includes several settings you can use to personalize the clock to your liking. Just press and hold the clock to access them.

If you don't know how to tell time on a Binary Clock, check out the instructions in the blog post announcing the app: https://links.jhale.dev/binaryclock

Binary Clock is open-source! Check out the code yourself on GitHub: https://github.com/thehale/BinaryClock

Exactly what I wanted!!! Includes both sexagesimal mode (when the phone is in portrait — vertical — position) and binary-coded decimal (which appears when the phone is rotated to landscape position). It even has a "Hints" mode, which shows each dot's value. I would pay for this! But then, I'm sort of a geek. 😊

I'm glad you like it so much! And don't worry, I'm happy to add additional features in the future that you can pay for XD (Though what's currently free will stay that way)

I'm sorry but this is just useless. You need to open it to see it and you can't change it or do anything at all. No widget, nothing. There's no way to look like a cool nerd if you have to find and open the app WHICH SHOULD BE a bright sleek intriguing widget on your home screen that people constantly ask you how you got so cool to attain it at the very least, and a 4-Star baby breakfast with Michael Obinary himself at the buffest.

Sorry for the disappointment. The initial goal of the app -- turning an old phone into a nerdy bedside clock -- didn't need widgets, but they are now a top feature request and under development (see https://github.com/thehale/BinaryClock/issues/12). There are some configurable settings already available. Just press and hold the clock face. :D

Shows the wrong time. Can't change the colors or anything. The only setting is for brightness.

Thanks for reporting the issue on your device. Would you be willing to share a screenshot of the app alongside your status bar to support@jhale.dev? I can take a closer look from there. Also, changing the colors is on the To-Do list. You can track the status of that feature request here: https://github.com/thehale/BinaryClock/issues/3
