About this app

FreeTaps is a free and collaborative application that allows you to hydrate without creating waste.

With FreeTaps you can:

- Find the water point closest to you to fill your bottle or simply to drink
- Reference a water point that is not on the map, which we will add.

Do you want to help us grow the movement?

- You can talk to shops and restaurateurs about FreeTaps so that they are listed as a (free) water point in the application. We will send them a sticker to put on their window. Tell them to report in the app, we will get back to them.
- Do you have skills that you would like to make available to the association? For example, we are looking for people in dev or OSM.

Why FreeTaps?

Switching to a water bottle to avoid disposable bottles is good but it is not enough.
To sustainably anchor this new use, you must be able to fill your bottle regularly and easily.
Thanks to its community of users around the world, FreeTaps makes waste-free hydration simple and accessible.

Who are we ?

Freetaps is an association founded in 2011 whose mission is to reference drinking water points throughout the world, on a free and collaborative application.
The application is constantly enriched thanks to cities and individuals who add data: more than 20,000 water points are already available!
Freetaps was created by the founders of Gobi.
