There is a bug with manual thermostat setpoint. Mine is originally set to 120F (via browser), but the app displays 48.889F. I don't know which one is in effect now. I will manually update the app to match the correct setpoint, but this should be set properly from the start for users. I like the leak notification feature. I can now remove IFTTT integration rule I set for that. Keep up the good work.

The bug you noted was in the launch release, and has since been fixed if you care to update your review, thanks!

it will not reconnect to the internet on it's own. It MUST be connected to the internet to work. It's more a PITA, than useful. It is not a signal strength issue. It is a design issue. IF there is no internet connection, there is NO functionality. This is not a video device. It does not NEED persistent access to the internet, but it is designed to be persistently connected to the INTERNET to function, not just the home network. When it cannot, if ceases to function. Therefore useless. Y? Spying?

Kevin - while we appreciate your opinion about the product design, Aquanta materials clearly state that it requires always-on connectivity to operate properly.

No software updates in a year - dismal approach to customer service. Tried "intelligent" setting but there is no feedback, nothing to look at to see that it is responding to usage. Changed to "manual" and now seeing some savings. It only provides me with kwh used which is just a measurement of when the exhaust blower is running. Would prefer a measurement for gas used. Tried the water leak detection. Beep from unit was so soft, could only hear standing near tank. Notification on cell, no sound.
