GoKid carpool app helps carpooling families stay organized by providing an app with quick and easy invitations, regular reminders, in-app notes, and optimized routing to pick up and drop off each child. GoKid is not Uber for kids. Parents take turns driving the group of kids.

How it works:
1. Set up your kids’ carpool schedule
2. Send invitations to families you know (via email or SMS) so they can join
3. All the parents volunteer to drive on days that work best for them. Now the magic happens...
4. Our carpool for kids app keeps the schedule organized in real time, so the whole carpool group can see who is driving, where the pickups and dropoffs are, and what the best driving route is.


The GoKid app is a great solution for parents when there are no school transport services. Use it to carpool to school and after school activities, carpool to sports activities, to parties, and more! No school van or bus? No problem.

Our goal is to make moms’ and dads’ lives easier by providing a way to share rides to school when there is no school van or school transportation services. Carpooling with friends and neighbors is a great way to get to and from school or after school activities.

Ratings and reviews

There is no option to put a generic location like "school" or "mailbox" for setting up carpools that the carpool riders can understand amongst themselves. Why does the app require an exact address for pickup and dropoff ? A lot of parents may not like to share exact details for various reasons -- privacy, new address not registered yet, temporary locations, etc. Please let me know if such an option exists!

have been using this for a couple of months now and this was great when it worked. the app glitches often and I'm currently annoyed because the girls schedule changed and I continue for weeks to get an internal error when I try to update the car pool. I need help!!! it appears the only solution is to delete and start over but people have committed to drives and that would be very unproductive.

Best app on the market so far. Really looking for more features, like seeing a carpool but choosing to default to not including my kid, if only needed occasionally ( too hard, too many clicks to opt of of all the days we dont need it) but hate togive up the option to carpool on the days we need it.
