Actually, the app itself is functional (qr scan, camera and all). The problem, you have to figure it out yourself how to make it work for you. The GUI is confusing, not clear. Which is not good especially to those who are not that tech savvy. At least give instructions on how to make use of it at the start. The registration page will take you to uour browser-tap that big colorful heart in the app. Once done with that, to scan QR, you will be taken to that page too on your browser automatically

Ever since the update, it's a lot harder to get to the QR scanner which is what I mainly use it for. I like the exposure notification though but it's still a 1 star for me until this gets fixed. Also, I doubt people would be turning on their BT for it since it drains battery faster but it is still worth a try. I think SG does this also. Anyway, please return the QR scanner back to the way it was. Thank you!

Just for the purpose of checking whether it is really able to detect people with symptoms that are near me, I asked my husband to check one of the symptoms. His app registered him as having mild symptoms. However, when I clicked scan to see if it will reflect in my report, my result turned 0 mild cases considering he was just near me. His GPS and bluetooth were both on. I hope this can be improved to really capture accurate results.
