About this app

With the authentication.gov.pt application, citizens can activate the Digital Mobile Key (CMD) with a video-selfie and validating their citizen card.
In this application, you can also generate a temporary security code, or use biometric validation from your mobile phone, as an alternative to the SMS code, to authenticate yourself with CMD in public or private portals.
It also has a service for managing access authorizations to your data and signing documents.

Horrible!!! Its such a waste of time and space. Its slow, has lagging issues, it doesn't take a picture of the ID card properly (need several attempts) and the face recognition doesn't work either. The portugal website forces you to download the app just to update an address. I am embarrassed of the quality this portuguese government created. So unnecessary.

I was looking forward to an easier process to activate the ID but can't get past the phone number association. What a waste of time. I honestly expected more. The previous app where you downloaded in the computer worked much better!

Horrible! The app and all system simple doesn't work, have been out of the country for almost forty years, and know for two months is only pins,chave movel digital and chave das financas, I am in the same as I start, can't get in no were. Thanks Government for the millions spent in none sense.
