About this app

Open your #BezPoplatku account with the Fio Smartbanking application and have it at hand at any time. Already have a Fio account? Simply connect it to the application in Internet banking and choose what you want to use it for. For example, set your home screen, clearly display your balances and movements, enter quick payments with a simple scan, manage card limits or arrange savings or a loan.

TOP SECURITY
Fio Smartbanking meets the most modern security standards. Access to the application is protected by a password and authorization of transactions is further by a PIN, or it is possible to use biometrics in both cases. Without verification, no one can access your account, even if, for example, you lose your phone.

FOUR APPLICATION MODES
You can use the application to the full, or choose a passive mode when you first activate it, in which you can see balances, account movements and other reports. The new feature is the authorization mode, which is used exclusively for quick confirmation of transactions. A combination of passive and authorization mode is also available.

THE PERFECT OVERVIEW
You have the option to customize the home screen to see the most used reports and functions at a glance - add accounts, cards or buttons to quickly enter payments. You can sort the accounts or distinguish them by color. You can have notifications of account movements sent directly to your phone.

FAST PAYMENT
Pay by taking a picture of the QR code, loading a statement, account number or loading an image from the gallery. You can create QR codes thanks to the Pay me functions, manage recurring payment templates and standing orders or direct debit approvals. It is possible to easily and securely confirm card payments online or orders entered in Internet banking on a mobile phone.

CONTROL OF CARDS
The application allows you to change card limits at any time and you can temporarily or permanently block the card. You can also block selected types of transactions, e.g. those with a disadvantageous rate (DDC). If you want to pay by mobile, you simply add the card to Google Pay.

NEW PRODUCTS AND MORE
Communicate with the bank more easily thanks to the improved Fio service. Open a new account, savings or apply for a card or overdraft. On the new Investments tab, you will find an offer of Fio mutual funds.
Choose to secure the application with a PIN code, fingerprint or by looking at the display. You can also set the dark mode in the application and it will direct you to the nearest branch. And of course there is much more.

The application is available in Slovak, Czech and English.

Ergonomics of the application could be better. But the real problem is a strange error about forbidden characters in beneficiary name. I've used only latin characters, no dashes, digits or something else and still had an error. On the website I see almost the same error but also it can make some fix (I didn't find any difference though) which allows to make a money transfer. And the last but not least - English localization is incomplete and could be better.

Hello, we are sorry to hear about the complications. Could you please write to us more via Fio service in the app (on the Dashboard on the top right), what specific details are causing the problems? We will look into it and solve the problem together. Also we will be glad if you write more about the problems with English localization. Thank you.

"Become a new client button just doesn't work" Edit : When i open the app and click on "I want to become a client" it goes to window where stands that I will need ID, passport or driving licence and i need to be citizen of SK and older than 18. I press "continue" and it gets me straight back to the first page. No error message at all. Already tried re-install app a d restart device, doesn't work.

App is getting lot of communication errors and because of that creating account or login is not working The issue was resolved and the app is working fine. I am interested in the road map for the app to see what features will be implemented

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We are constantly improving the app, most recently in terms of QR payments. For the next versions, we are planning, for example, a widget with the balance visible without logging in, more accessible account or credit card information, a list of received push notifications or a more user-friendly activation.
