Security Advice
For Security reasons, the application cannot be run from a Rooted Device.

Department of Post never asks you to provide your MPIN, Transaction Password, User ID and OTP (One Time Password). Please be aware of such Phishing by fraudulent.

How to Activate Mobile Banking Application

1. Download the Mobile Banking Application from Google Play store. Please don’t download from any other websites.

2. Open the application and click on Activate Mobile Banking button.

3. Enter the Security Credentials which you have provided with Department of Post.

4. No message Charges for OTP (One Time Password). We shall deliver you Activation OTP on your Registered Mobile Device. Please enter the OTP on the screen which asked you to enter the OTP and proceed further.

5. Once successfully validated you will be asked to enter 4 digit MPIN. Please enter 4 digit MPIN of your choice and you will be activated for Mobile Banking Application.

6. For login into Mobile Banking application, please enter your User Id and the new MPIN.

The Post Office mobile and net banking services are incredibly frustrating. The app's interface is outdated and full of glitches, making it nearly impossible to transfer money or complete simple tasks. Net banking isn't much better, with constant issues and poor functionality. I'm so fed up with these problems that I’m considering closing my account. The service is far behind other banking options🤬🤬🤬

The postal department itself seems to be lousy with app development. I don't think they are much customer oriented as we can see from the service at counter or digitally. Outdated and no option to self troubleshoot app issues, even forgot user id or password. Even activation of mobile banking is complicated and needs attendance at counter.

Not even working for many days says "communication failure with the server. Plz check the network connectivity and try after some time" whereas website log-in is working. Otherwise it feels good to see our most oldest banking system is getting digitalized. Great initiative. However it lacks some basic features like fund transfer, payments etc. But i loved using it rather going to post office. Good luck guys.
