About this game

■Synopsis■

The legends of Hazushima Island speak of shapeshifting village protectors—the mighty Kitsune. But when a giant corporation rolls into town to destroy the forest, it's up to you to protect these mythical beings from losing their home.

■Characters■

Mayuka
VA: Nanami Otsuka

Strength is everything to this natural-born fighter. Mayuka puts the safety of others before herself as one of the village protectors, but how will she cope against a modern enemy that she has never seen?

Tsukiko
VA: Mayu Yuuma

With a tough exterior and cold attitude, Tsukiko struggles to express her feelings. Seeing the world through human eyes may help her grasp how others feel, but can you give her the final push she needs to show her true colors?

Fuku
VA: Eri Saita

The shy but curious Fuku is more attuned to the feelings of the forest than any other being. While she easily makes friends, it's difficult for her to foster those ties. Can you help her develop those bonds, or are you the deep connection she's looking for?

The game itself is a good visual novel, which is the only reason I gave it more than one star. Solid story and art. However, the monetization is an absolute nightmare. The good choices require gems which means watching an excessive amount of ads or roughly $3 per choice. In the end it's 90% ads to 10% game, or a way overpriced VN. The devs clearly don't respect their players' time. I will not be playing any other games from them again unless they change their marketing strategy.

The game has so much potential if it wasn't PLAGUED by microtransactions. The storyline is simple and easily likable. I only got to the 2 chapters in the nurses office before giving up because I couldn't pick the choice I wanted without having to buy rubies, which is one of the in-game currencies. Honestly, if I could just pay for the game straight out or if they told you; you needed X amount of rubies you had to buy to play the game with you making any choice you wanted, that would've saved it.

This game was ok and the art is fantastic although I do dislike the fact that the " premium " choices require gems which cost a fortune. Points might be a option but the only ways to get them is to either play the minigame ( Really hard to win btw ) or to download other apps. It really isn't worth it so I just choose the other one. Overall, this game is great, that is why I gave it 3 stars but it really needs to remove premium choices cause they ruin the game.
