Like others have mentioned, you need to log in via out of home to control the unit and it only works occasionally. I find myself using the v1 unless I need to adjust the louvers. I did send a recommendation, which I'm not sure if it was received that the fan speed should be included in the app as that is a major feature that people use a lot.

Adapters are connected to our wifi (wife version 1.0 app working fine) but this 2.0 app is absolute garbage. Just shows our units but no controls. If I go into an individual unit it tells me to log into "not at home" and then can control units. Do thst and then "no units found". Utterly ridiculous. Lucky I did a web search for the app and on Daikin site a link to 1.0 was there. Now all is well

It is cumbersome to have to log in every time. I'm not sure why that is necessary. It actually worked for a few weeks, but now I see my unit on the screen and when I log in it shows "no units found". This appears to be the same issue that is affecting everyone else. This is just a poorly designed app that is not being supported by Daikin. Please fix it Daikin.
