About this app

The hvv card is your electronic customer card. You can use this to identify yourself as a subscriber. With the help of the hvv Card Info app and an NFC-enabled smartphone, you can read your hvv card yourself – anytime, anywhere. So you always have an overview of which products are on your customer card.

Current changes to your products and contracts are only displayed after you have updated them on your hvv card. You can do this yourself at any machine. Alternatively, we would be happy to help you at one of our service points.

Do you have an hvv prepaid card? You can also read these with the hvv Card Info app and an NFC-enabled smartphone. You can quickly and easily receive information about current and no longer valid tickets or the balance on your hvv prepaid card.

Note: The hvv Card Info app is only used to display purchased tickets. It is not possible to check their validity at your current location or on your current journey.

The hvv card or hvv prepaid card is read out via Near Field Communication (NFC). This international transmission standard enables data to be exchanged between your hvv card or hvv prepaid card and your NFC-enabled smartphone over a short distance. This means that you only have to hold your hvv card or hvv prepaid card briefly against the back of your smartphone to get an overview of the products stored on it. A prerequisite for the successful exchange of information is the activated NFC function in the settings of your smartphone.
