Stay safe

- Unlock your bike and start your ride with a simple tap in the app. You’re the only one who can turn it on. Activate Auto Unlock for an effortless start. As you approach, the bike senses your connection and comes alive.
- Whether near or far, you'll be able to locate your bike at all times with GPS tracking. Use Find My Bike to follow the signal and pinpoint its exact location.
- [Theft Insurance exclusive] If someone attempts to snatch your bike, we'll proactively notify you right away.
- With Crash Detection, if the bike detects that you're ever in an accident we'll check in to make sure you're alright. If not, we'll automatically alert your emergency contacts and share your live position.

You’ll never ride alone

- Need a maintenance? Subscribe to Cowboy Care and book an unlimited number of service appointments in the app. We'll come right to your door and give your bike a full check-up.
- The Cowboy team is available to chat with you in-app for any bike or tech question you have along your ride.
- If your bike requires an update, the app will alert you automatically and guide you through every step.

Ratings and reviews

Since the latest update, I'm constantly getting a notification about traveled distance and burnt calories, while I have all notifications turned off in the app. I could block notifications on system level, but that would break the theft alert functionality. Update/answer: I'm already running v5.1.0 and I am not driving while getting these notifications. I get them all the time throughout the day. I also already have the 'do not disturb' option switched on

Not sure what you did, but recently the app has been consuming all my battery, it's the top app every day by 46% even if I don't cycle, I disabled background usage now. Edit : no one contacted me... For anyone else struggling, uninstalling the app is the only way to stop this. It does not seem to respect power settings. Edit: using cowboy untamed to unlock my bike now, removed your app as it is useless. Your responses indicate that this bug is unusual, but a lot of people are having the same.

The bike is great but the app dev and support is not great at all. The app drains the battery since the beginning of the year. I use a pixel 7 which should be one of the reference phones to test the app. After half a day the phone is hot and battery is drained to almost 25%. The support always refers to the development team and I never got a confirmation that the issue is being looked at. Poor customer experience. Wouldn't recommend cowboy due to that anymore.
