Radio City was inaugurated on November 19, 1990 and broadcast on AM 770.
His arrival was a major milestone for the region, because the only radio option was the Brasilia National.
Its programming began with a lot of music, journalistic and sports information, service and relaxation, in the voices of its first speakers, Aroldo Souza, Júlio Cesar and Ramalho JR. After them, many others passed by and missed the station's listeners.
Today with the migration, Radio City of Matupá-MT, broadcasts in FM modulated frequency, 101.1, and continues reinventing its programming following the technical and professional evolution, to meet the entire region of Vale do Peixoto.
