Not sure if this is the same developer(s) behind he Daddish games, but the game itself is a lot like that series in terms of mechanics, platforming, and writing. Albeit with a different protagonist, even if they have pretty much the same controls as of world 1. Maybe there's something that'll set the gameplay apart later but I haven't reached it, still love the levels either way. (Edit; I'd recommend putting checkpoints right before the boss room in boss levels. Small change but it'd do a lot.)

Almost a perfect game, if you take this an make it more Metroidvania style, it'll be perfect. Adding some way for combat all the time with more monsters and bosses and the Metroidvania style of exploration with secret areas, with a seamless map design like Metroid, Castlevania, Dead Cells etc. it will add so much replay value and make this a superior game to most Metroidvanias. I would give it 5 stars for a game like that, 4 now for tight controls, music, graphics and overall gameplay.

I'm on world 2 and it's pretty fun so far. Very similar to Dadish, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Looks like it takes the mechanics in more interesting directions at least. I like the ability to jump down through platforms, but I find that while walking, I tend to put my thumb slightly on the lower part of the joystick, which makes it impossible to jump. It would be more convenient if while on solid surfaces, the player would always jump upward, no matter the directional input.

Thank you for your review! I'm happy you enjoy playing Space Intern.
I'm aware of the input problem - I'll fix it in the next game update. :)
