I have called ao tech support 4 times. Each time I am ran through a series of the same attempts to connect the app to the heater. When none of the options work, I am told they will bump it to the next level of support and will need to call me back. They never do. 6 months and I still cannot connect the app to the aayer heater. I have tried to connect using 3 different phones and nothing works. As a plus, they are nice people but garbage app. It should be banned from play store.

The new version blew away my registration and my serial number. Had to start over from scratch. The new version is also quite a downgrade. I'm not able to tell how much hot water is actually in the tank with the new meter visualization. It shows one red bar and 10%, but no hot water has been used all day long.

Can change heating mode remotely. Can see roughly how close to "full" the tank is, which is poorly defined, and always seems to be 100% even when I don't have hot water. The energy use chart is daily; I'd like to see time of day and type (e.g. heat pump). Couldn't get Bluetooth connected.

This update changes the colors of "Hot Water" available for added clarity.

Red color indicates the current amount of Hot Water available in your Residential Hot Water Heater. (Shown with a Percentage [%] to the left of the indication bars.)
Blue color indicates the current amount of Unheated (Cold) water in your Residential Hot Water Heater.
