A note from Warsh’s narration on the authority of Nafi’:
The narration of Warsh on the authority of Nafeh is considered one of the frequent narrations in which the Noble Qur’an is read in various Islamic countries, especially in the North African region and the Arab Maghreb countries. Islamic historians attribute this narration to Abu Saeed Othman bin Saeed bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Suleiman, nicknamed Porsche, who lived in Egypt during the period between the years (110-197 AH).

Imam Warsh was famous in Egypt for his good voice, mastery of the Arabic language, and mastery of the rules of reading the Noble Qur’an. He was helped in this by his reading of the Qur’an at the hands of his elders in Egypt, but he soon traveled to Medina to hone his talent at the hands of Imam Nafeh bin Abi Naim, who read several seals to him in many aspects in the year 155 AH, so he approved him for reading it because of its compatibility with some aspects that Nafie took. About his seventy elders.

After that, he returned to Egypt again, and assumed the presidency of the readings there with the consensus and recommendation of the scholars and Muslims around him, after which he became the Sheikh of the readers in Egypt, which is a sign confirming the approval of the people of this country to read it despite their knowledge of the readings of the people of Medina during the Hajj trips, and despite their knowledge of the readings of the sheikhs and imams residing between their backs, and since then there have been frequent reading workshops and they have remained reliable to this day.
