To improve information for users of motorways and national roads in Ile-de-France, the State is putting online a new version of the Sytadin application for smartphones, with:
► An improved interface, a more precise map;
► My Sytadin: direct access to personalized information on your favorite routes;
► SOS: a virtual call terminal to quickly contact emergency services according to its geolocation.
And always :
• Reliable information: all events and their consequences are checked by traffic specialists from the Ile-de-France Roads Department, who cross paths with sources of information;
• Real-time information, coming directly from sensors installed on the road network, intervention teams, cameras and data provided by the vehicles in circulation;
• Provisional information, including in particular road closures planned for the next 7 nights;
• Integrated information, with the type of event (incident, breakdown, accident, site, etc.), its location, its origin, its description, its impact on traffic and, when possible, the foreseeable duration of disturbances.
The SYTADIN application on smartphones, without any commercial advertising, is available for free.
The Île-de-France Roads Department (DiRIF) is the public service for highways and national roads in Île-de-France. It aims to allow and facilitate regional, national and international travel on the national road network in the capital region. As such, she is responsible for the operation and development of Sytadin. Deconcentrated service of the ministry in charge of transport, the DiRIF is placed under the authority of the prefect of Île-de-France, prefect of Paris, within the regional and interdepartmental direction of equipment and development (DRIEA) of Ile-de-France.
