My family has been a subscriber to the Columbus Dispatch since 2006. It is a very good quality, mainstream, progressive to politically moderate, "full-service" newspaper that has tried to remain viable as consumers' information gathering habits have undergone extreme changes. There are many excellent features. However, the app that provides access to the e-newspaper has serious flaws. The most serious of these is that it is difficult, maybe impossible, to access articles in past editions.

I have been a paid subscriber to the Dispatch since 1994. This app has NEVER allowed me to see the electronic edition of the newspaper despite repeated efforts to log in over the last ~4 years. I am left to believe that this app was designed primarily to tease and frustrate readers who want to stay current while out of town. I would continue our subscription to the print edition even if the electronic edition were functional. After I wrote this my eEdition started arriving daily. Thanks.

Updated January 2021: thank you for fixing this! Much appreciated. Would enjoy better if every push notification took you to *that* particular story vs what it does now, which is to take you to the newest push story. In other words, if you receive 2 push notifications, the newest one supercedes the older one, even if you select the older one to read.
