The guide Maresme Library presents itself as a dynamic and scalable tool to present all resources for libraries in this region. These resources were expanding year after year, while creating new libraries or adding others not comprised.
Libraries Maresme publishes an annual resource guide with the objectives of:
· Introduce teamwork Maresme municipal libraries and their local collections.
· Encourage teamwork and strengthen the ties of cooperation between libraries Maresme.
· Provide knowledge and nurture local collections with information about which there is not much literature.
From the Pompeu Fabra library in Mataró coordinates the realization of the guide and is distributing to all libraries in the region, as well as other organizations and personalities from the world of culture.
In 2013 as a novelty, went online in digital format, in an app that complements the guide on paper. This means some improvements:
· Adapting to new publishing formats.
· Update the information very fast and constant.
· Dynamism and spread to a greater number of users.
· Display of all resources in the region.
