About this app

"Smakame V" is an application dedicated to the simple network camera "Smakame". It also has a motion detection function that notifies the smartphone when there is movement in the camera image. It is safe because you can check moving images such as watching over your pet while you are at home or checking the safety of an elderly person who lives far away. Of course, it can also be used from inside the house, so it can be used in various situations depending on your ideas, such as baby monitoring and checking for visitors.

Easy connection that does not require complicated network settings or registration on the website.
After connecting to your broadband router wirelessly or wired, just read the QR code printed on the back of the camera with the dedicated app and enter the password, and you're ready to go. Each screen has a simple design so that even those who are not good at complicated menu structures can easily learn how to use it.

[Feature 2] Can be used in apartments and other housing complexes
Even if you live in a condominium or other housing complex and cannot change the settings of network devices such as routers, you can connect from outside with a smart camera that does not require any settings.
In addition, since Smart Camera does not require a global IP address, even if you are using an apartment ISP (Internet Service Provider) that only distributes local IP addresses, there is no need to separately apply for a global IP address option.

[Feature 3] Supports H.265 to achieve minimum traffic volume
The video compression method uses H.265, which has a reputation for high image quality and high compression rate. Communication carriers limit the bandwidth to reduce traffic, but by adopting H.265, the amount of communication can be kept to a minimum. Good video quality can be obtained even if the communication speed is slow. It also has the advantage of saving storage space when recording. (Switching to H.264 is also possible)

[Feature 4] Recorded video can be viewed from a remote location
Equipped with continuous recording to the microSD memory card inserted in the camera body and a recording function linked to the motion detection function. It is also possible to play back video recorded from a remote location.

[Feature 5] Play audio at the same time as video
For models that have a built-in microphone in the camera body, audio will be played simultaneously with the video. You can check the state of the installation location from a distance, which cannot be conveyed by video alone.
