The company Heltur Transportes e Turismo is a pioneer company in Community Based Tourism -TBC.

Heltur, headquartered in Camaçari- Bahia- Brazil, developed the Intelligent City, Intelligent Tourism - CITI Tour Rural project, which aims to build practical conditions for mobility between urban and rural areas, providing passenger transport, in an executive van vehicle, capacity of up to 20 seats.

To this end, it will use the technology of a mobility application, the CITI rural tour, to structure fixed routes that will connect family farming units that practice agroecology to Community-Based Tourism activities, fostering the economy and promoting responsible tourism in the State of Bahia- Brazil and adding value in the provision of services.

With the company's newest technological tool, the app, the CITI rural tour, travelers can book their trip in the safety and comfort of their own home.

The CITI rural tour, to structure fixed routes that will connect productive units of family agriculture that practice agroecology to Community-Based Tourism activities, fostering the economy and promoting responsible tourism in the State of Bahia-Brazil and adding value in the provision of services.

The functions that will be offered to tourist users and that will add value to the other objectives of the company:

- Rural tourist itineraries in the territories of Identity of Bahia (political geographic division);

- Map showing the route with Georeferenced location;

- Type of transport that will provide mobility between urban and rural areas. It will offer information on the capacity of vehicles, inform the make, model, license plate and driver information of the vehicle;

- Option to make the personal registration, with mandatory data to access the application;

- Information about accommodation or support points in the rural location;

- Regional tour guides, who are residents of the region to be visited. Guides accredited by Heltur. Being able to accompany visits to rural properties and nearby places such as trails, rivers, waterfalls, ruins, historic buildings, cultural attractions, etc.

- Agroecological activities will allow the reception of the tourist delegation, with the option of selling organic products;

- Commercial activities in the locality: spices, souvenirs, typical foods and other local references;

- Historical information and letter of introduction of the locality;

- Option to book and pay for the selected route directly in the application, with the options of pIX, card or bank transfer;

- Option to view 360º photos of the places to be visited;

- The experience evaluation function with the attribution of grades in the validation instruments with indicators;
