What I find really upsetting is that the HomeSeer Mobile product does not get Push Notifications. There is an action to send messages to HSTouch Clients, but I am guessing that the HomeSeer Mobile app is not considered an HSTouch Client. When I download that app, it says I have to pay extra. It is sad that HomeSeer nickels and dimes you. From a technology stand point, their custom Raspberry Pi device is solid. It is the best one I found where all the devices are always connected and working (and I have a lot over a large area). With that said, everything else about the HomeSeer product is painful. Their web app for configuration requires a minor degree in understanding how to set up if/then rules which are not usually intuitive. Using HomeSeer requires a ton of time and a lot of help from the community. Also, regarding the app, there are so many basic programming issues. I have developed mobile apps (iOS and Android) and it likes they have a high school kid programming this. It is soooo painful to use.

Overall I like the app, use it regularly to check the status of my devices/counters/timers while I'm building automation events. i rarely use the app to do things like turn on or off lights, that type of stuff is automated. That said, the app rarely logs me in automatically, I often get an error, and it has trouble realizing that I've switched networks. Would be nice if I could just use fingerprint to login. And the UI looks basic and or dated, even though this is relatively new app

Update 3-25-22. Still no dashboard save option and my app just lost my dashboards, so it means start all again from scratch. This is absolutely unacceptable the dashboard backup it is a MUST Have option. Update: Still not option to save the dashboards, it is ridiculous to have to re-create dashboatds went you replacer they phone. App is nice. I cant find an option to export Dashboard to share it with the rest of the family. Setting all up from scratch on every family member is time consuming.

Hi Walter. FYI - The latest update includes a dashboard export/import feature. Hope that fixes things for you!
